When ordering a dress that is not in stock make sure you have at least 6 to 8 weeks before your big
event. Although most of the time dresses will only take between 5 to 10 days to get you, things can go wrong and D2D does not have any control over other companies, the post, or natural disasters.
Items that are in stock will take 2 to 3 days by courier
D2D has a exchange only policy for dresses that have been ordered in, all dresses are checked throughly for faults before being posted out.
You may exchange or get a credit voucher for any reason, you don't have to give a reason (as long as the dress is in the same order as you received it ).
ie; you can exchange because you don't like it or its the wrong size, whatever, it doesn't matter.
Just email D2D letting us know you want to exchange, and let us know whether you want a voucher, an in stock dress, or another dress ordered in (make sure you have enough time).
D2D will then give you a return/exchange number, all you will have to pay is the postage.
Post your dress back to D2D, as soon as it has arrived, D2D will do a dress inspection, D2D will send your credit voucher, etc, back to you.
The dress that is being returned must have its tags on, not smell of smoke or anything else and be in the order it was received in or I will not be able to send a voucher or a replacement, you will also have to pay the postage to get the dress back.
Dresses will generally take about 5 to 10 days to arrive at your home. We at D2D suggest giving yourself at least 8 weeks before your special event, as D2D has no control over other companies, the post or natural disasters.
D2D takes no responsibility for dresses not arriving on time for your event. However, D2D does not like unhappy customers so we will try to work something else out (such as a instock dress).
It will be a case by case situation, ie; If you have given D2D 8 weeks to get the dress in, what I would do for you will differ from if you have given me only two weeks to get the dress.
When you make a order D2D checks that the dress you have ordered is instock, (stock can change from minute to minute so it is hard for D2D to keep totally up to date)
If the dress isn't in stock ,D2D will email you to let you know and refund your money. The money can take up to 5 working days to show up in your bank account, this happens sometimes when the refund is coming from a different bank from your own.
They get sent on a monday and need to be back at D2D by thursday, when sending back it is a good idea to email me a copy of the courier ticket then if it goes over time there is no misunderstandings.
If you don't send it back in time then you can consider it hired, you will get charged the hire fee for each week I don't receive it back until it comes to the buy price.
Sale dresses can also be returned for full refund, less postage (as long as they are in the same order you received them.)
